MY LIFES WORK
Past
Age 5 exchanged nail-biting for a Kodak camera in hand. Age 6 illustrated with tempera paint, watercolors, pencils, crayons and wrote small books of familiar or imaginary animals, a self-assignment in a one-room schoolhouse in northeastern Nevada. Age 6-7 designed and handsewn fashion collection for a doll. Age 10, discovery of mentor Buckminster Fuller’s Weekly Reader column on change and invention from a generalist point of view. Summers under the sun and in the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Fall-Winter-Spring walking alone in the N.E. Nevada mountains or high California desert on adjacent Native American Reservation. With an eye to see birds, animals, insects, and spirits presenting themselves from their perspectives.
